Becky Holland (House Manager)
Becky Holland is a Magnet Cove Band and Choir Parent who has been with us since 2022. Becky is Mom to Shaun Jr., Abby (Gage), Aaron and Austin, and Shelby, as well as grandmother to 3 awesome grandchildren. This is Becky’s 8th show with us and she is FANTASTIC!!!
Baron S. (Stage Manager)
Baron S. is a senior at Magnet Cove and this is his second show working as the Stage Manager. After graduation Baron is going to be attending Henderson State University and majoring in Physical Therapy.
Shauna Harper (Set Construction)
Shauna Harper is the Art Teacher at Magnet Cove High School. Mrs. Harper organized her art class and painted a large portion of the set for us this season. We hope to have Mrs. Harper work with us on future projects because she does an AMAZING JOB!
Zach Wacaster (Set Construction)
Zach is 2020 graduate of Magnet Cove and now a Firefighter for the Malvern and Magnet Cove Fire Departments. Zach was instrumental in the design and installation of the Magnet Cove Auditoriums Lighting Matrix and New Curtain Project. Zach ran lights for the first two musicals, “Lucky Stiff” and “Forum”.
Zach is a skilled builder, welder, climber, grease monkey, and isn’t scared to brake it if needed. Zach has been instrumental in designing and rigging the special effects for Matilda and we are so so glad to have him back.
Grady “Poppi” Young (Set Construction)
“Poppi” is a Magnet Cove band parent times 3. Working on Matilda as a Set Carpenter, this is Poppi’s 8th show working with Unity Stage. Poppi has also played roles on stage in “Shrek” (Poppa Bear) and in “Mattress” (Old Knight). Poppi enjoys hanging out with the crew, working behind the scenes, and teaching kids how to do things the right way. Poppi has been instrumental in supporting the directors of the show and school programs and we are so APPRECIATIVE of all of his help!
Rebecca A. (Backstage)
Rebecca A. is a senior at Magnet Cove and this is her 3 show with the company. After graduation Rebecca is going to attend Henderson State University and become a Wildlife Specialist.
Abby K. (Backstage)
Abby K is a freshman at Magnet Cove and this is her first show with us.
Abby is active in the band and color guard, and she wants to try her hand at working behind the scenes.
Anthony S. (Backstage)
Anthony S. is a senior at Magnet Cove and this is his first show working backstage. After graduation Anthony is going to join the workforce as a welder.
Beth Chandler (Hair/Makeup)
Beth lives in Malvern and work at Obsessions Salon. Being a theatre nerd, she has always had a soft spot for theater and music. So using her everyday job to help these kids transform into their characters brings Beth so much joy! According to Beth there’s nothing like adrenaline of a quick change or hair/makeup switch up! Mostly Beth enjoys making the kids feel confident! Beth is so excited to be back again this year!!
Loriann Hoffman (Hair/Makeup)
Loriann is from Malvern and works at Obsession’s Salon. Loriann is currently a senior student at Hot Springs Beauty College. She loves doing hair and has a passion for serving others. Loriann has partnered with many businesses in Malvern in order to provide hair services for those who are in need. Loriann is excited to be apart of this project and she looks forward to seeing you all soon!
Kaden Edwards (Spotlight Operator)
Kade is a senior at Poyen and this is his first show with our crew! Kade is a member of the Arkansas National Guard. Thank You for your service!
Shelby H. (Lights)
Shelby H. is an 8th grader at Magnet Cove and this is her 3rd show as our lighting operator. Shelby is active in Choir, Cheer, and the theatre department. She is also Mrs. Gage’s little sister!
